Description:
Dry toilet in exterior phenolic, with or without designs.
Wooden or plastic lid.
A very good way to use these toilets is by placing it over a deep pit with a diameter slightly smaller than the base's width.
The earth we dig out of the pit is what we will use each time we use the toilet.
This method avoids odors, cumbersome handling, and the need for sawdust. Ideal for the countryside where there is privacy, or we can also build a mobile cubicle.
The soil is fertilized directly, and then the toilet is moved to another location.
A 20-liter paint bucket can also be used as these toilets are designed for that size.
This method requires sawdust and ashes, along with a place for the process.
It’s important to be very careful and well-informed about using this type of compost (humanure) to prevent coliforms from reaching food, ensuring the temperature rises sufficiently during the process. Ideally, it should be used for trees.
With these toilets, compost is generated, the filling of the chambers is slowed down (in the case of using two systems), and pollution is reduced.
