Since the beginning of sedentary life, humans have found that the answer to many problems is almost always the same.

We are hungry... we plant, we need wood... we plant, we need tools... we plant, we need medicine... we plant, we need to fatten animals... we plant, we need beauty... we plant, we need shade... we plant, we need shelter from the wind... we plant...

Today, the answer remains almost the same, with important differences in how we plant and how this affects biodiversity, the level of soil erosion, water quality, our health, and that of other living beings.

Now we don’t just need to plant, we need to plant better; plant with common sense and think of those who come after us.

Plant with health in mind, not just money.
Because the effects impact everyone.

Unfortunately, what most defines us as a species is the tragedy we are causing, and what most unites us with other species is the tragedy we are suffering.

We need to reduce global warming... plant better, we need to reduce erosion... plant better, we need to improve health... plant better.

Together or apart, beyond party politics, religions, beliefs, and football clubs... we still need to plant, and plant better than we are doing now. If not, it will be bread for today and hunger for tomorrow.
